Month in Review - January 2026

Michael Wittig – 30 Jan 2026

New year, same mission: making your AWS environment easier to watch over without the manual headache. This month, we’ve been busy tightening the bolts on our Monitoring Assistant.

Month in Review

Here is a quick look at what we rolled out this January:

  • We improved our Monitoring Assistant’s EC2 coverage by adding an EventBridge rule to monitor AMI failures.
  • We added Quick-Links for CloudWatch Alarms for namespace AWS/ApplicationSignals.
  • We improved RDS event parsing

We also worked on small bug fixes behind the scenes.

In February, we plan to pay down some technical depth we accumulated over the years.

We are looking forward to your feedback!
