Month in Review - November 2025

First, we would like to thank all customers who joined marbot this month. We would also like to thank all our existing customers for their trust and valuable feedback. We are improving marbot every month with small improvements and major features. In this post, I share what improved this month:
- Update alert messages everywhere: For a long time, when an alert was escalated to a channel and acknowledged by a user, the message in the channel was not updated if the user closed the alert in the direct message. We changed that and now update all messages related to the alert to make the status transparent to all users.
- Improve RDS, DocumentDB, and ElastiCache event parsing: AWS adds new events constantly. When we receive an event that we never saw before, we make sure to support it as quickly as possible.
- Support new AWS region ap-southeast-6: AWS released a new region in New Zealand (ap-southeast-6) in September. We are happy to announce that marbot now also supports ap-southeast-6.
